Therapy is focused primarily on treating a diagnosis.  However, even with a diagnosis, the emphasis is on improving quality of life and finding life worth living. Emphasis on the diagnosis is hard and often not effective.  I have more freedom to see the whole person by not taking insurance at this time.


Dialectic Behavior Therapy

  • Skill groups and individual therapy focused on learning skills and working through steps to build a life worth living. 
  • Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Mindfulness
  • Adaptable for neuro-divergent individuals, family and adolescents.

Additional advanced training in Radically Open - Dialectic Behavior Therapy for Disorders of Over Control. 


Anxiety and OCD Therapy with ERP

  • Diagnostic Evaluations for Anxiety vs OCD
  • Experienced treatment with OCD and neurodivergence together
  • Exposure and Reaction Prevention for phobias, OCD and other avoidance behaviors
  • Body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) - trichotillomania (Hairpulling), derma (skin picking) etc.
  • Reducing compulsive behaviors that are interfering with quality of life with those with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  The baseline is different, however, working with compulsions is the same.

LGBTQIA+ Support in Trying Times

Individual coaching empowers you to achieve goals, and is rooted in focusing on the future. Coaching is often short-term and/or moves to another area of coaching or skills.

  • Executive Functioning Coaching - teaches people how to organize, plan, prioritize, manage time, maintain focus, self-assess, and study efficiently. Self-management skills are increasingly important in a complex world with many distractions and competing priorities.
  • Self-Regulation Coaching – teaches people how to manage their emotions, behavior, and body movement when they're faced with a tough situation. It also allows them to do that while staying focused and paying attention
  • Study Skills – Teaching people how to organize and take in new information, retain information, and produce the learning points in a way that is effective
  • Time Management/Organization – Prioritizing, Decision-making, Goal setting, Problem solving, Scheduling
  • Procrastination/Perfectionism Coaching – Learn skills to manage time and emotions to get hard tasks completed in a timely manner
  • Self-Compassion Training – learn how to change your self-talk from the critical, coach that is always yelling to the kind and patient coach that you need in your life to maintain focus and kindness
  • Mindful-Based Stress Reduction Training - an eight-week evidence-based program that offers secular, intensive mindfulness training to assist people with stress, anxiety, depression and pain.
